The 48th FICEP Camp, an international sports adventure week, is once again an absolute highlight of the summer 2024 (July 27th – August 3rd). In Chartres, an impressive city amidst golden wheat fields, lush forests, and along the Eure river, youngster between the age of 13 and 17 can look forward to a variety of sports activities, adventurous excursions, and exciting workshops.
Sports & Empowerment
The focus of the camp is on engaging in sports together. From classics like soccer, gymnastics, and beach volleyball to trending sports like bubble soccer and parkour, the variety of activities is as diverse as the interests of the participants! There is surely something for everyone! Under this year’s motto, “Sport: Source of Empowerment,” the camp also highlights how sports can contribute to greater self-determination, self-confidence, and participation, especially for young people.
FICEP spirit
The international camp is particularly characterized by the unique FICEP spirit, which emerges within a few days through shared sports activities and cultural exchange among young people from various FICEP nations. This fosters long-lasting and valuable friendships that extend beyond national borders. Last year, the young sports enthusiasts came from countries such as Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, France and Romania.
